BargainDesire tip sheet! How to: Clear cache/cookies.

Today I wanted to talk to you all about clearing your cookies/cache.  Many of you are probably staring at the screen thinking, ummmm I'm not eating cookies and you spelled cash wrong.  That's fine...I'm about to help you speed up your giveaway pages, and increase your chances to grab those difficult to score freebies.

First things first what are cookies and cache?
Cacheis a component that transparently stores data so that future requests for that data can be served faster.
In normal language, it's information your computer stores to load up pages faster. Sounds awesome right?  In ways it is...but EVERY PAGE stores to your cache.  This can mean lots of extra information your browser is storing, and it just is not necessary.

Cookies is used for an origin website to send state information to a user's browser and for the browser to return the state information to the origin site.
In normal language, it's similar to a cache element only it's storing text data, and can provide for tracking internet activity. (Nothing malicious.)

Now onto the important part.  Just like cleaning up your clutter at home, it's important to clean out your cache and cookies. If you have stored passwords, don't worry they aren't contained here and won't be deleted unless you specify.

Here is a link to NYU's page on how to clear these pesky buggers out from time to time.  I, because of my browsing habits and the amount of time I spend jumping around the net, clear my cache every week.

Hope this is helpful!
